Basic Meditation Practice

Saturday 3:30 p.m. (ET)

We meet every Saturday for Basic Meditation Practice which is opened to both new and experienced meditators.  We want to make meditation practice accessible to everyone, so there is no fee for attending this session. A reservation for this session is not required. Donation is welcome. The guided meditation starts at 3:30 p.m. and the door is normally opened at 3:15 pm. You are not required to arrive early, however, please enter the meditation room before 3:30 p.m. so that it will not disrupt other meditators who are sitting inside.

Shoes should be removed outside the meditation hall.

Chanting and Meditation

Tuesday 7 p.m. (ET)

Every Tuesday night, we have a session that begins with 10 minutes chanting followed by a guided meditation. Chanting can be a powerful tool to help with concentration.  It creates a calming rhythm and energy that can help you focus and get clear. Chanting can also help you feel more peaceful and positive, which can lead to a deeper level of inner experience. Meditation time for this session is typically longer than in the Basic Meditation Practice on Saturday.  If you have already learned some basic meditation from the Saturday class and are ready to sit silently for about 45 minutes, we are happy to have you join us in this class. A reservation is not required.

Parent and Child Mindfulness

2nd Saturday 2 p.m. (ET)

Meditation offers numerous benefits for children, including improved focus, reduced stress and anxiety, enhanced emotional regulation, and increased self-awareness. It can also help with sleep, academic performance, and prosocial behaviors. Due to the long class time of other adults' sessions, children usually aren't able to sit quietly in our regular sessions. Hence, we offer this session specifically for small children under 13 years old. A parent is required to sit-in to meditate together with the kid. The meeting time is at 2-3 p.m. on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Please e-mail to dimcnj257@gmail.com for reservation.

Break in a workday is very important because the workplace can be overwhelming, regardless of whether you go to an office every day or work from home.  If you need a moment of pause during the day but it is too challenging to find a quiet space to relax and recharge yourself at home or at your office; you are welcome to join this session on Thursday afternoon. The session will take only 45 minutes of your day. The guided meditation will help supports your mental health, enhances your ability to manage stress, boost productivity, and improves your overall quality of life.
